The Canada Goose
The Canada Goose is a species of waterfowl native to North America. Known for their distinctive black heads, white cheeks, and large size, Canada Geese have adapted well to urban environments and can often be found in parks, golf courses, and other outdoor spaces. They are migratory birds, traveling long distances between their summer breeding grounds in northern Canada and their winter feeding grounds in the southern United States. Despite being hunted for sport and food, Canada Geese remain a common sight in many parts of North America and are a beloved symbol of the continent’s natural beauty.
